I found corporate identity as the foundation of a stable business. Corporate identity is not about designing a logo and some business cards, it’s about how the company communicates with the market and the partners. A strong identity is based on internal values, on the image it has inside. The reputation of a company starts from its employees and business partners, with the relationship between work philosophy and marketing strategy. The stronger the relationship, the more stable the business is.
Public relations are often neglected by small companies because their owners rarely understand how important is to become a part of the society. It’s like going out: if you don’t have friends, at least try to know some people and one day you will have few buddies, then, as time goes by, you will be able to call for help if you are in trouble. If the identity is not very strong, most probably you will be marginalized. Having a strong personality, firstly you will be noticed by people around you, then some of them will start communicate with you.
Any human being and any company needs strong principles. It’s what keeps you alive, it’s what everybody else will respect the most. Corporate internal values are carried by the employees. They need to be smart and open-minded, they need to play as a team, they need to understand the power of the group. Having motivated people in a company is like having air: cannot live without it.
But principles and communication skills need a nice image. Like we need pretty clothes to go out, a company needs pretty logos, colors, uniforms and anything else make it look nice. Go out in a trendy outfit you will definitely be noticed by people around you. Or you should try to be classy or glamorous. If your intuition goes well, it’s about the targeted market.
