With a history of more the 150 years, Burberry is an international recognized British luxury brand. When I firstly found it as a newcomer in Top 100 Brands for 2009, a classification made by Interbrand, I was a little bit surprised. I didn’t expected to find it right next to Visa, Lexus or Adobe. At a second thought, their world wide distribution network, the royal awards, the quality of Burberry products made me think they deserve a place in the Brands Hall of Fame.
In 1901, Burberry launched the equestrian knight with the Latin word “Prorsum” (meaning “forward” in English) on the flag and after 100 years they are still going forward. For those of you who are looking after a nice classy outfit, or if you just wanna try something strongly connected with the British lifestyle, you definitely should give Burberry a chance.
